He must have a concussion or something. He could have sworn Vent just turned into a cloud of smoke. Regardless, this savage giant needed to be put down quick and fast. He noticed a pile of dead goats with a small turtle atop them. A cloud of steam filled the air as the little amphibian watched the giant warily. 'What had he gotten himself into this time?' He shook his head and ran back to the only living foe left
He threw one of his axes at the enemy's foot. Unfortunately, it went wide likely being lost in the snow. He jumped with all the strength in his legs on top of the charred great club as it tried to smash him again. He used it as a staircase to the arm and the vulnerable head beyond. He drew his great sword as he passed the damaged hand to his targeted point. As his lungs began to burn, he reached the bottom of the bearded chin. He spun his body for momentum and launched his large weapon at the eye nearest him. It flew with accuracy and pierced the creature's source of sight. The force behind it allowed it to penetrate into the brain bringing an end to the brutal battle. The dwarf held on for dear life as the massive body crashed down. He pulled his weapon from the skull and wiped it on the snow.
He approached the surprised guide. "Thanks for your help, Vent. It was very valuable. Once you grow a proper beard will have a drink together." He looked at the many corpses scattered across the ground. The giant would feed the scavengers. However, all the goat parts would be wasted if they didn't harvest what was provided. "After we skin and butcher this bounty. Would you be willing to lead me back to Domrhask?"
The elemental smiled at the backwards compliment. "Sure, I won't even charge you this time."
